You might recall that Paris Hilton recently took the stand in her own defense after being sued for $8.3 million for allegedly failing to do her best to promote a straight-to-DVD feature, National Lampoon's Pledge This. Apparently, her totally awesome testimony ("I'm not sure what a producer does, but — I don't know, help get cool people in the cast") sufficiently wooed U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno, who ruled that she is not liable for those damages in Miami federal court yesterday. We can hardly wait for the inevitable ticker-tape parade.

Paris Hilton’s pets are one luxurious bunch of animals, for they live in a 325,000 dollars dog house, all thanks to their fabulous owner.

The hotel heiress recently opened the doors to her pampered pets’ lavish new custom-built kennel in the pages of the latest issue of Life and Style magazine.

The doghouse has been built on the grounds of Hilton’s Beverly Hills home, and is shared by her six pet pooches.

The kennel is wired for electricity and features a wrought iron mini-staircase and crystal chandeliers hanging in the air-conditioned bedroom and lounge areas.

“I wanted it to be fun, cute, comfortable and beautiful. My friends just love it and think it’s so adorable and cool,” Contactmusic quoted Hilton as saying. (ANI)

Paris Hilton is still accepting applications from lovely ladies who are just dying to met her and become part of her glam life.
More than 500 girls have already applied but Paris is still on the lookout for more.
Creative consultant Mary Ghobrial says Paris and her team are looking for 50 girls in total who will be reduced to a final 12 - only one of which will be crowned Paris’ BFF and win a trip to LA to hang out with her.

“We now have around 20 girls of different nationalities, including Arab, Asian and Western - a mix which nicely reflects Dubai’s cosmopolitan feel,” she said. “But we need more so Paris has a wide range of talent from the region.”

Paris will land in Dubai with her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt and her entourage, including a business manager, two fashion stylists from LA, a hair stylist and make-up artist and security guards in tow. Filming will take place all over Dubai and will last approximately 20 days.

Open auditions have been held for the past two months at locations including The Four Seasons Golf Club, Dubai Festival City, where girls from all nationalities registered, underwent psychological exams before given a series of tests by the panel of judges.

Potential BFFs are first required to record a message for Paris Hilton as to why they think they’ll be a good friend. Those chosen will then return for a second day for a one-on-one interview with the executive producer and a psychologist. And the final screening is sent to Paris.

Paris Hilton, Warner Bros cut ties before second album

New York, Oct 3 : Hollywood socialite Paris Hilton has cut ties with record label Warner Brothers, in order to release upcoming album under her own label.

The Heiress Records will put out Hilton’s as-yet-untitled disc, which is reportedly set to hit stores later this year.

It has not yet been publicized as to why Hilton and the label have separated. "Paris" peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard charts, but was widely seen as a flop with a dismal 75,000 copies sold in its first week.

A Warner rep chose not to comment on whether weak sales were to blame for the split.

Hilton unveiled her new single, "My BFF," on Ryan Seacrest''s KIIS FM radio show earlier this week.

"I was really inspired by Kylie Minogue, I wrote every song on the record,” The New York Daily News quoted Hilton, as saying.

Hilton''s manager confirmed that the singer will be releasing her next album under her own label, but did not comment when asked whether his client had teamed up with another giant label. (ANI)

We just learned that her next baby is called Siren, a logical step after Fairy Dust. The next one after that could be called Nymph or Enchanteress or Sorceress or Vamp -- oh, the endless possibilities! We think that Paris is going to be able to take a long-view approach now to cover all the feminine repertory of archetypes.

So far, the news have been confirmed but mum is the word. You will have to wait a bit before getting loud and clear details about Siren. Stay tuned...

The chihuahua sat next to the hotel heiress while she modelled in a gold bikini, reports the ‘Sun’.

In a separate shot, the pooch was placed between the reality star's legs.

Meanwhile, the wine brand ‘Rich Prosecco’, which created ripples with its ultra-modern advert featuring a naked Hilton covered in gold paint, is failing to meet sales targets.

Multifarious batches of the wine are rotting in warehouses around the world.

The wine company is also facing a legal showdown with Italian vintners over the use of the name ‘Prosecco’.

PARIS HILTON was left scared and in tears as she watched her boyfriend, DOUG REINHARDT, take a beating in a Miami, Florida club on Thursday night (26Mar09).
The socialite/actress has now explained what happened after a DJ took offence when she asked him to change the techno music he was playing at the posh Fontainebleau hotel nightclub.
Writing on her official blog on Friday (27Mar09), Hilton revealed Reinhardt was left bloodied as six security guards set about him after he stepped in to protect his girlfriend when she was pushed away from the DJ by one of his entourage.

She writes, "All hell broke loose, it was like something out of a fight movie, it was so frightening. I had never seen anything like it in my life. Doug was fighting off like 6 guys. But he was of course stronger than them all, but one of the idiots punched him in the face and busted open his lip. There was blood all over.

"I cried. I was so upset and scared. It was ridiculous and for such a stupid reason, I cannot believe people behave this way, like ainmals (sic)!"
She tells fans, "FYI this is not in my nature to be in club brawls, I've never been around anything like that. It was totally unprovoked and thank God Doug was there to rescue me."

After 28 years of hard work and overcoming adversity, things are finally looking up for Paris Hilton: the cops have caught the guy who stole her cell phone, reports the New York Post.

Set your Wayback Machine all the way to 2005, when the blonde heiress lost her cell phone at a Manhattan nightclub. The phone ended up in the hands of another female patron, who turned the phone over to her boyfriend, 30-year-old hotel manager Marc Marrouche. Sensing an opportunity, Marrouche allegedly set his ethics aside and put the phone up for sale on Craigslist.

Of course, Craigslist users aren't limited to creepy bald men and college grads trying offload their Po?ng chairs; an undercover officer bid $5,000 US on the phone but pulled a bait-and-switch, offering Marrouche up to a year in jail instead.

Arrested on March 5, Marrouche was charged with criminal possession of stolen property. So, to keep track: steal a cell phone, serve up to a year in prison; drive drunk with a suspended license, serve only 45 days. Yeah, that sounds fair.

Paris Hilton has a new baby! Don't jump to conclusions, though – this one's covered in fur and has four legs.

Paris's newest beau, The Hill's Doug Reinhardt, gave Hilton a baby teacup Pomeranian for her birthday, along with many other gifts, said the heiress, who turned 28 on Feb. 17.

"He probably got me more presents than any guy ever," she said in Las Vegas before a belated birthday celebration Saturday at the Hard Rock Hotel's Body English. "He's sweet."

Her affection for Reinhardt, who's previously been linked to Lauren Conrad, was on full display over the weekend. On Friday at Ago, the couple stayed close, kissed and held hands throughout dinner as her party of 25 people looked on.

At Body English, the couple even smooched on stage for all to see.

Though the relationship is still in its beginning stages, Reinhardt said it's already serious. "I think so," he said when asked. "She's a very amazing girl."

Earning brownie points, he added, "She's the most beautiful girl on the planet. She's amazing, both inside and out."

Paris Hilton has never been described as demure (that we know of, at least.) But the ultra-mini the socialite wore to Sunday night's Grammy Awards took her status as a short-skirt devotee to a new level.

Hilton's Versace dress -- or was it really a top? -- was what our beloved Go Fug Yourself girls might call a "scroll-down fug."

We actually love the combination of deep plum and royal purple in the Herve Leger-style harness bodice. But (as often is the case with Ms. Hilton) there is way too much happening from the waist down.

As if a green, iridescent skirt covered in purple netting and what appear to be crocheted appliques wasn't busy enough, Ms. Hilton saw it fit to add a sequined clutch, metallic heels and diamond doorknocker earrings to her ensemble.

The overall effect? Just a little too human-disco-ball for our liking.

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden may have broken up, but they're still close friends, she said Friday.

"You know, I love him. He's such an amazing man and he's my best friend and he's been so great to me and so loyal," Hilton said Friday on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS F.M. radio show. "He's an incredible person. We'll always be very close. We'll see what happens in the future. I'm still in love with him."

Asked what happened, Hilton cited busy work schedules and lots of travel as the reason behind their split.

"We're both working so much," she told Seacrest. "There are all these reports saying that I dumped Benji. That's not true. This was a decision we made together as two adults."

Still, Hilton emphasizes that the door hasn't completely shut on their romantic relationship. "Right now we are just taking a break," she says. "We are really good friends. We're really close."

Shooting down questions of infidelity, she says neither of them cheated, and her recent meeting with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos was nothing more than a chance encounter and a "quick conversation" between friends.

As for Madden, she says, "He's doing great. We talk every day. We see each other."

Hilton, who sounded in low spirits while talking to Seacrest, added that dating other people "is the last thing on my mind."

On Wednesday – the day her break-up was confirmed – she had a low-key dinner before making an appearance at Hollywood's Crown Bar.

The celebrity told Entertainment Weekly that she had recorded the dance-influenced record with Paramore producer Mike Green.

"I wrote all the songs," she said. "It's very dance, like Kylie Minogue."

Despite releasing her debut album, 2006's Paris, on her own Heiress Records label, Hilton said she was unsure how the new album would come out.

"I'm figuring it out right now," she said. "I'm not sure which label I'm doing it with."
Famously, 500 copies of Paris were sabotaged by the graffiti artist Banksy and Gorillaz/Gnarls Barkley member Danger Mouse. The duo replaced the albums with their own interpretations of Hilton's music and altered the album art to show a topless Hilton with a dog's head.
